I received a call on the afternoon of January 13, 2009, from a family who believed they had an angry spirit acting out in their home.  This call came from a family I had known for many years and hearing the anxiety and fear in their voices made me agree to go over that evening.  

They were experiencing objects flying off walls, drawers and cabinets opening and closing, chairs moving, loud bangs, nightmares and the general feeling that someone being there. The night before, the homeowner came home to find her jewelry armoire had been emptied and the contents strewn all over her room, there was a smashed light bulb on the floor and papers from her dresser were also scattered about.  This activity had started just a month earlier coinciding with the homeowner’s Mother’s passing.  The family was sure it was the Husband/Father who passed 2 years earlier trying to give them some kind of message about unfinished business.  For this reason, I knew I needed for Chari to be there and fortunately, she was able to even with just a couple of hours notice.  Gerry and Andrew also assisted with cameras and the EMF meter.

Chari and I sat with the family and listened to their story of what had been occurring and questioned why they believed it to be their Husband/Father. They explained they had been to see a Psychic and she told them it was him. She told them something was missing and he had unfinished business he needed to take care of.  Both Chari and I felt certain it was not and that he was happily in the Light.  Our reasoning for this is that he has been appearing to people in dreams and the only time a spirit can do this is when they have passed into the Light.

Gerry and Andrew went through the home with the EMF meter and digital camera.  There was nothing out of the ordinary.  I had the digital voice recorder running the entire time.  Chari and I started our investigation in the master bedroom, where the worst of the activity had occurred.  I put the recorder on the bed and started asking questions and trying to coerce this spirit into showing itself or showing us what it can do.  Both our digit and Nikon cameras stopped working.  Chari and I agreed that this was a young boy, about 15 who followed the family home from the funeral home where the homeowners, Mother was cared for.  He needed help and was desperately trying to get their attention so they could help him.  We promised him we would help him move to the light and that he would be safe and loved there.

From there we went right down to the basement, where they had seen a figure and had the strongest sense of someone being there.  When I got down here, I could feel a strong presence right away.  I stepped into an area that almost made my knees buckle.  I could feel this spirit was much older (centuries) and much stronger than the one upstairs.  Chari felt right away that he was there to protect the young, newly married, pregnant, wife/daughter-in-law.  She spoke to him and assured him that the woman was in good hands and is being very well cared for and that his presence is causing her and her husband much anxiety and fear. 

Chari, among other things is a gifted Soul Walker.  She has the ability and gift to open a door to the Light and cross earthbound spirits.  She spoke to both the boy and man about what they had to look forward to in the Light.  She explained they had the choice to go or not and if they did go there was no retribution for not living a perfect life.  She called on helper spirits to assist and cross the two earthbound spirits into the light.  Helper spirits are spirits already in the Light, known by the earthbound spirits who are loved and trusted.  She opened the door and both the boy and man went through it.  This is an experience you can’t see happening, but you can surely feel the energy of it.  I sat taking pictures while Chari walked them through, but as of yet I have not been able to catch any of this amazing energy on film. I did however get a high pitched hum on the digital voice recorder.

We then went to the family and gave them our explanation of what had happened, who was causing it and why they were doing it.  We also told them that both had crossed into the Light, so the house should remain calm. 

The pictures we managed to get before the cameras broke showed 3 with orbs. Two shots in the bedroom showed orbs and one in the basement.  There is also a picture from the basement with light that we can’t explain where it came from.

I spoke with the homeowner 2 days later and all was calm and good.
